I needed to make another.
I chose the second part of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, a lesser known
female-coming-to-power story,
I took the summer of 2026 to create an
illustrated book using 2d illustration
and 3d models.
Below is my progress and the different assets that brought this project together.

"Queen Alice" in a glassy 3d texture, made in blender.
I thought her change needed to be dramatic because after going through Wonderland twice, suffering through every character, Alice becomes powerful.
She got a seat at the Queen's table and for the first time, used her new abilities as queen to punish the ones who
treated her badly.

8.5" x 11"
20 Pages
Photo collage, illustration, 3D art, Risograph
Programs Used:
Indesign, Photoshop, Blender
The turns of the game correspond to the events in the book. Each page of this project is a summary or a moment from one chapter in the book, so I changed the page numbers accordingly.

When Alice goes through the looking glass, I wanted her color palette to change to something more whimsical.

When Alice becomes Queen Alice, I wanted her to become PART of wonderland, and so her colors are completely unreal.
Her dress has white rabbits and the suits of cards, homages to her first adventure in wonderland.
